The flood of emails lately are so special to me...this is from a
friend, Kristine Knutson, who used to have us giving those
WebKinz out all the time. I asked her what was happening at the
store and put it at the end of the email. She is a nice lady and
shopping downtown Libertyville is always fun.
Hi Joe,
It's Kristine Knutson from How Impressive! i know it's been a
long time since we have touched based - my store, how
impressive! is doing GREAT but I really miss being on XLC!
Anyway, I wanted to let you know, that I was listening to your
show on the way taking my kids to school this morning and
you were talking about your mom and how peaceful you felt
and how much you were able to give her before she died. Well
my kids were in the car, Billy age 11 and Alison age 13 and
they heard it and I told them that your mom died and how you
were ready to give her to God and all. It was really nice!..It
was a really nice thing for them to hear...and I didn't realize it
at the time but what a memorable impact you put on them.
Tonight when we were saying our prayers, we then do special
intentions and my 11 year old son brought up YOU and your
mom!!!!!!! Saying I pray for Joe and his mom and I said Joe
who?? and he said the guy on the radio mom! I was just
amazed he remembered that and the 5 minutes he heard you ,
what an impact it made!!
They know how much I used to advertise and all their friends
would say how cool it was to hear Billy's mom store mention
on their radio station!! You have made a difference in so many
lives you don't even know - can we please donate $100 to your
wifes walk...let me write you a check..I wish it could be more
as I believe in the cause - May we all LIVE* LOVE* LAUGH
again in honor of all those who have died of cancer or
unnecessary cause!! thanks for being you...kristine

Another email from you guys...
Joe,
I am sure you have heard it a lot but I am sorry to hear about
your loss. I lost my mom to breast cancer 3 years ago, so I do
know how it feels to lose that special someone. I am excited to
hear that Kelly is walking I think it is the 3 day. I am 32 and
will be a 1 year breast cancer survivor, so these walks will help
the future of our children. I am also walking in the 3 day in
August, so maybe your wife and I will run into each other.
Stay strong and love those little ones, they make everything so
much better.

I read this one early today and got choked up...THANK YOU! This
woman knew my mom and listens to the show but DID NOT know
that she was my mom until it all happened. Crazy.
Joe,
I listen to you at work every day I didn't know you where
Anne's son. I know Anne from a friend Donna P. I was so
surprised to hear she went to heaven. I have a wonderful
memory to share with you Donna your mother and I where at
a Neil Diamond concert we where in the car when your mother
said I lost my diamond from her ring. We went back in the
Allstate theater to look for her diamond and guess what we
found it. I always remember her smile and I am very sorry
for your lost.

defeat breast cancer.
She is walking for my

who has been affected
by breast cancer or
would like to help
please donate! THANK
YOU for any support

This is very personal
for us and our families
and affects many
woman today. At first
I felt weird about
