WOW!! What a Super Bowl! Could you ask for anything more? A
last second victory by the New York Giants over a heavily
favored New England Patriots team.

How cool to see Peyton Manning cheer his little brother on during
the game and see him do something he had just done the year
before? My wife was like "I feel bad for the Patriots". Why do
women always feel so bad? There has to be a loser. This is why
we have kids playing sports and there are no winners or losers. I
don't think it's a good way to prepare them for the world!

The commercials weren't spectacular. To be honest I was at the
pizza place until half time anyway, but the standout commercial
was the little kid for "E Trade". He spits up at the end. That and a
few others and I'll get the link up on the XLC homepage for
everyone.

It was kind of a low key weekend other than that. Friday I
worked at the pizza place, Saturday I was at DiCarlo Fine Wine
and Spirits in Mundelein which is always fun, and then I watched
the kids while Kelly was out Saturday night with friends for a
bachelorette party.

Sunday, I got up, went to breakfast by myself to read the paper
and then took Steven up to see my stepdad Norm. I have been
doing that for a long time on the weekends and I figured why
stop now? He seemed to enjoy the break in the day and Steven
has a good time no matter where he is!

I'll get some pics up from the weekend for Tuesday.

Hope you enjoyed the game and weekend!

My wife, Kelly, is
walking in the Susan G.
Komen 3 Day Walk in
August.

This is something near
and dear to us as we
try to raise money to
defeat breast cancer.

She is walking for my
mother...Anne.

If you know anyone
who has been affected
by breast cancer or
would like to help
please donate! THANK
YOU for
any support
you can provide.

This is very personal
for us and our families
and affects many
woman today. At first
I felt weird about
asking for donations,
but you know what, it
is a major issue and
the more awareness
and help the better!
