After a few rough days on Wednesday afternoon I made the
decision to book a flight back home for a weekend at the beginning
of April. Call me a wuss...call me whatever but I just need to get
my bearings. I worked up to the very day that I left to come here to
Colorado Springs so it was a big whirlwind for me and my entire
family and all of my friends. The support I've had is outstanding
and that's what family and friends are for!

With that said I just want to go home, see my brothers, as much
family as possible, and get it out of my system. If I don't do it then
it will not be until the summer sometime. Hopefully by then
SOMEONE will come to see us! :)

In the meantime I am excited to do so much here when the
weather gets even better! Pikes Peak is on the list. Sky Sox games
are down the street from us and that they are affiliated with the
Colorado Rockies is fun. Steven has been swinging a bat (not at my
head thankfully) and throwing the ball. It will be a blast to spend
summer nights at a ballpark. EVERYONE has been so welcoming
and helpful and that has helped out tremendously...so THANK YOU!

Talked to both my brothers today to tell them I was coming home.
My Aunt Michele, my Aunt Nancy, and my Aunt Linda. Talk about
family! I love it. Seriously it helps more then they will ever know.

I'm an emotional guy and get self conscious that I am coming off as
a total puss...but it's who I am apparently. As long as I don't have
heels and a skirt on right? Wait, what? Ha!

Ok...a few things...we went to Target for family pics real quick
tonight. Steven and Adam were good. Steven was running around
like nuts but I did (even though they don't want you to) snap some
cell pics!

Adam may look scared but he had fun I swear!

By the way there are podcasts up at

Last...but not least! I know there is a lot today. One of my favorite
albums that my mom actually turned me onto was Clapton
Unplugged. So...as I've been blogging I've had a few tunes on
including this one...enjoy! Talk to you soon!

My wife, Kelly, is
walking in the Susan G.
Komen 3 Day Walk in
August back home in
Chicago.

This is something near
and dear to us as we
try to raise money to
defeat breast cancer.

She is walking for my
mother...
Anne...she
passed away January
21st of this year.

If you know anyone
who has been affected
by breast cancer or
would like to help
please donate! THANK
YOU for
any support
you can provide.

This is very personal
for us and our families
and affects many
woman today. At first
I felt weird about
asking for donations,
but you know what, it
is a major issue and
the more awareness
and help the better!
