Have a lot on my mind! First I am missing Kelly and the boys
tremendously. I am happy we had a few hours at the park Tuesday
before they left for a little picnic though.
Guess it is snowing back in Chicago which stinks. It's been in the
60's here and sunny!! So nice!
My sinus infection is improving - that doctor took care of me and I
am clearing up big time. Just in time for a SUPER BUSY weekend!
Friday night we (as in the Peak Staff) is going out for dinner and
drinks with Fox21 here in town. We'll be working a little closer
with them starting in April which is cool. I'm excited to mingle.
Saturday, Hanson Hot Spring Spas is the place to be! Tammy and I
will be live from 10a-Noon to give a spa out. Hope you can make it.
Saturday night...no station even...however, Dan Hardee, Mr. Hip
Young Night Guy on Peak FM is taking me out on the town. My first
night out in "The Springs". Already I am nervous he said we could
do dinner at 9. I'm like, at night??? LOL! I'll let you know how that
goes!
Sunday is the Chef Competition with other media outlets for
charity. This is hard core and I need to take it easy on Saturday
night cause this is BIG and there is a lot of pride on the line. A dude
I went to college with, Greg Applebee, does mornings on another
station here in town and we are up against him! We must win!
Come and support us if you can. Tickets (discounted tickets!)
available at www.929peakfm.com.
I'm glad it is busy cause it takes my mind off of things. I've been at
the station late every night since Kelly left cause I hate being at
home alone to start thinking about stuff.
Went to see Semi Pro with Will Ferrell last night even. The later
show. It was funny!! Stupid...yet funny!
The song that he sings in it as Jackie Moon is addicting...
Check it out below and LAUGH!!!! I mean, one of the lines is "Let's
fill the bathtub with sweat"... Talk to you soon,
JC
My wife, Kelly, is
walking in the Susan G.
Komen 3 Day Walk in
August back home in
Chicago.
This is something near
and dear to us as we
try to raise money to
defeat breast cancer.
She is walking for my
mother...Anne...she
passed away January
21st of this year.
If you know anyone
who has been affected
by breast cancer or
would like to help
please donate! THANK
YOU for any support
you can provide.
This is very personal
for us and our families
and affects many
woman today. At first
I felt weird about
asking for donations,
but you know what, it
is a major issue and
the more awareness
and help the better!
