Whoa. What the? What day is it?

While the cat is away the mouse will play!! LOL!

So, I didn't anticipate going out on Friday night but it happened.
One of the promotions managers has been in town as long as me.
Six weeks - Derrek is his name. We met with our new partners at
Fox21 and had a few drinks - or at least I did. He saw I was a loser
and decided to say lets go hang.

It started out tame we were at Cowboys hanging out for a bit, had
a few, then, it was to Blondies across the street, then to The Ritz,
and finally Pure 13. Um, I was held hostage all night!! LOL! I
wanted to go get some sleep it was a long day but every time we
were going to head out we'd go somewhere else. I had a BLAST
though and actually stopped drinking and was just hanging out
enjoying the scene. Loooooooooooooong night. Run if you see this
guy...

Fast forward to Saturday. I was supposed to go out with Dan
Hardee our night guy but he flaked out. Yeah, I said it. So I went to
go see the movie "Drillbit Taylor" by myself and walked out!!
Horrible! Not funny! Owen Wilson...zzzzz.

I got a call from John Foxx who works at a sister station of ours
(Magic FM) to hang out with him and his wife. There is a new club
in town called "Club Mix" (I think!) and we headed there. Not sure
what kind of a night it was going to be but I was happy to at least
go out.

We ended up going to Cowboys and getting pretty liquored up.
Many, Many, Many, Many, Many...shots...Yager Bombs all night.
They were party animals. Joseph, a sales dude, and his girlfriend
were there too. Karaoke was on tap and I sang Garth Brooks
"Friends in Low Places" after about three shots. John Foxx sang a
Michael Bubble song and killed it. Not in a good way.

At the end of the night I was taking drunkie pics and riding a saddle
at the horse saddle bar. Uh....and then there is John and his wife...

And this one I was a complete mess...with Romi from Magic FM...

The day after...wow. A mess!

However...I did get up on Saturday and go to a live broadcast to
give a hot tub away at Hanson Hot Springs Spas and then on
Sunday went to the Celebrity Cooking Competition against other
radio stations and TV stations here in town. WE WON!!

Tammy and I did some serious cooking...check out the pics...

Listening to Counting Crows and hoping their tour comes here...

Could I be MORE depressing? Sorry! Sometimes sad music makes
you feel happy. One of my favorite Kurt Cobain lyrics..."I miss the
comfort in being sad"
My wife, Kelly, is
walking in the Susan G.
Komen 3 Day Walk in
August back home in
Chicago.

This is something near
and dear to us as we
try to raise money to
defeat breast cancer.

She is walking for my
mother...
Anne...she
passed away January
21st of this year.

If you know anyone
who has been affected
by breast cancer or
would like to help
please donate! THANK
YOU for
any support
you can provide.

This is very personal
for us and our families
and affects many
woman today. At first
I felt weird about
asking for donations,
but you know what, it
is a major issue and
the more awareness
and help the better!
