Well...THANK YOU for the emails everyone! Still expected a FEW
MORE but that is just the ego part of me wanting to know there is
interest. But really - the emails I got are so nice and even touching.
I'll post some below (don't worry I'll protect your emails and last
names!). A lot of you are back home in the Chicagoland Area. Hope
you are listening online!! :)

Trying to update some of the stuff on the website like the links
page and even the podcasting page which used to be full of stuff
from my old station. And then there is the You Tube stuff too.
Getting there just starting from square one...AGAIN! :)

That is what the podcast page will look like but more I'm hoping.
It's cool that those are some of the fun things that
Tammy and I
have done since starting here about a month and a half ago. Having
A LOT of fun on the air and we are really going to just keep getting
better and better. It's exciting and chemistry is not an easy thing in
radio. Look for stuff on iTunes very soon too.

With that said... My former co-host
Rebecca is solo again at the
station I was at before coming here to Colorado Springs. Her new
man (co-host) left her or something I don't even really know what
the deal is but she is holding down the fort. She just launched a
new website and I saw she linked this page so now I am doing the
same. Check it out at
www.rebeccaortiz.com if you are interested.

And just so that my old news man (he's actually young) doesn't
feel left out...for nostalgia's sake...
Tim Vander Tuuk ladies and
gentleman! In Colorado you will love him he is a HUGE Avs fan.

Ok...enough of the shout outs! Kelly and I went to dinner with the
boys tonight and then stopped at the station to say "hey" to
Coyote
McCloud and Dan Hardee of Peak FM! Wow the shout outs just
keep on coming!

We were talking and took a walk to see
"Wingnut" at our sister
station. Yes, his name is "Wingnut"...guess what kind of station it
is? Yep. Country. My oldest, Steven, who's two...grabs the
headphones and a chair I KID YOU NOT and went to the
microphone like his old man! You talk about proud! He already
sounds better too!

OK...now...some emails! THANK YOU AGAIN and the more the
better it. I am going to TRY and get some kind of a feedback
section up but shoot those emails anytime OK?

I have responded to some in CAPS ok?

FROM MY AUNT MICHELE...(family ya know?!)

Hi Joe,

Of course, I read your blog!  Love the videos of Adam rolling over
(especially the comment you made when he did it when you
weren't looking!).  I'm glad I was able to see him do this in person
last Friday but it's still great to be able to watch it over and over
again.  (ADAM SCARED THE HECK OUT OF ME WEDNESDAY WHEN
STEVEN WAS KNEELING ON HIS NECK...HE'S OK AND PLOTTING
REVENGE ALREADY!)

FROM ILLINOIS...BROOKE I DO NOT MISS TRAFFIC THERE!!
Hey Joe,

What's up? MY name is Brooke and I am a manager at the HOBO
store right down the street from your former employer. Anyway, I
think you did the right thing in moving to Colorado. Not only is it a
better looking state, but I am sure it will be a bit of a slower
lifestyle than you had here. I bet traffic won't suck either. The
potholes around here are awful. Anyway, just thought I'd drop you
a line..

Brooke

ANOTHER ONE FROM ILLINOIS...WHERE'S COLORADO?

Joe,

We have emailed before, I am the girl that asked you for you
advice after you had your wife's ring redone.  I went ahead and did
mine as well. (HOPE IT WAS AT ROLLAND'S LIZ!)

I have wanted to email you but to be honest I just was at loss of
words.  You have lost your mom and I have lost my grandpa to
cancer.  I have not been able to accept the facts that he is gone and
for that reason I just did not know what to say to make you feel
better.  (I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY AND JUST YOU THINKING
OF DOING IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD AND I THINK OF YOU TOO.)

I myself have three kids and I am only 29.  We do miss you on XLC.

Sorry it is hard on you with being away from family, I can also
relate to that some what, when we moved to Lakemoor my closest
family is 65 miles away, it is nowhere to compare your distance
from family, but with kids and nobody else around that at times
feels states away.  (THE VIDEO PHONE THING IS HELPING WITH
THAT AND IT IS GETTING EASIER! TRUST ME WE ARE HAVING A
LINEUP OF VISITS THIS SPRING AND SUMMER NOW!)

Keep posted and hugs for Adam and Steven.

GEE...ANOTHER ILLINOIS!! IS ANYONE HERE FROM COLORADO?!

Hi Joe,
One of your old listeners from good ole Waukegan, I still keep
up with you and your family.( I know I need to get a life).. (YES
YOU DO DEB! HA I AM KIDDING THANK!)

I'm feeling for you because of your Mom also. My dad passed away
8 years ago. I'm going to take a vacation to go to the U.P.(He was
a Yooper). I will visit his grave. But he is always with me no
matter what. I will be stressed out, then I will notice a sunset, or
something in nature, and I know that is my Dad's way of saying,
stop Debbie and notice what God has shown you. He was a great
outdoor lover. He recorded the river running, even before it was
popular to record nature sounds.

(THAT IS GREAT YOU ARE GOING TO VISIT DEB! THERE IS A
BAND FROM THE U.P. THAT MY MOM USED TO PLAY AND THEY
DID THESE CRAZY SONGS I HAVE TO FIND IT NOW!)

I visited Colorado Springs way back in 1983, just a beautiful town.
Glad to hear you are adjusting. Things will get better about your
Mom. It is just a great testament that she raised a wonderful son.
Just wanted to let you know your blogs are being read even in
Waukegan.

SCOTT FROM ILLINOIS...HMMM...COLORADO IS THIS THING ON?

Joe,

Hey Joe, it is dodge ball Scott here back from the home front.  It
was sad to see you go but I keep up with you on your blog and I
even listen to your new station sometimes.  I enjoy reading your
about your kids and your family because I have two little boys as
well (2 year old and 6 week old).  Life with two is definitely
interesting.  I hope your boys get better soon.  It is too bad we
never did get that dodge ball game in….

(SCOTT: A FRIEND OF MINE TOLD ME ONCE YOU GET PAST TWO
YOU HAVE TO GO TO A ZONE DEFENSE! YOU ARE OUTNUMBERED!
THANKS MAN!)

Scott

FROM MY DAD'S LITTLE SISTER ROSE... HI AUNT ROSE!!

Hi Joe,

I do check out your blog whenever I get a chance....so add me to
the statistics.  I love hearing how you are doing and I especially
love seeing the pictures of Steven and Adam.  Keep them coming.

Love,
Aunt Rose

JENNY WITH A NICE NOTE FROM ILLINOIS (WHAT A PATTERN!)

Joe, I ’ve been checking your blog pretty regularly ever since you
left Illinois (as well as before when you were here at your last
radio station).  I do have to tell you that it was YOU who made me
want to listen to the radio station here (XLC).  I've listened to it
several times after you left and it ’ s just not the same.  You are
missed here, but I do wish the best of everything for you and your
family.

AH, YES, SUE...WHAT'S EMAILS WITHOUT YOU!

Hi. My husband went to the White Sox home opener and had such a
great time. When Joe Crede hit that grand slam, the place went
nuts. He and his friend were sitting on the 3rd base line and the
ball sailed right past them. The team is starting out well, and we
hope it continues.  What the heck?? J## H$@!@!%^  is gone from
the morning show already?? That did'nt take long. I guess he had a
hard act to follow!! HAHA.   SUE   P.S. Glad you had a good
weekend back here in IL.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST...BROOKE...GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING!

My name is Brooke and I live in Gurnee, IL.  I used to listen to you
on 102.3 XLC.  I miss you so much...But I am very happy for you!  I
just like to check in and see how you are doing.

Let's see something about me...I'm 32 years old and had a stroke
on 11/29/08.  I was in the hospital for 12 days but went back to
work after 6 weeks.  I'm scheduled to go in for open heart surgery
on May 19th at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.  Sorry to be a
downer...but the more people I have praying for me the better...

Well, take care of yourself!

Fondly,
Brooke

BROOKE...I'VE BEEN GOING TO CHURCH SO I WILL SAY A
PRAYER.

First time EVER I ran out of space on my blog! More emails please!!
