The weekend was JUST as busy as I thought it would be.

I mentioned that my in-laws were in right? Yeah, mother and
father and sister in law all here to visit. We had a good time.

On Friday we headed out to Garden of the Gods (yes again!) to
climb a bunch of rocks and take some beautiful pictures. Then it
was home and hang out at the house before going to bed.

Saturday they went to the zoo as I worked. Apparently the zoo
here is awesome and I can't wait to go myself!

Saturday night our intern Jen had a birthday party at a bar called
Good Company. We hung out and had a few drinks. It was me,
Kelly and her sister Colleen. I was tired, they kind of were and we
left around 10:15pm. In the meantime I found out there was a
house party going on at this dude Turk's place. He works for Magic
FM here in town...a sister station. Went over there and hung out
and had more drinks...too many...and watched them SLED DOWN
THE STAIRS which was fun to see. I did NOT do it cause I'm the
guy that gets hurt doing it. Click the Video tab up at the top left and
you should find what you are looking for. A fun crew that is for
sure. Kelly and Colleen were bored I think or just plain tired.

Sunday was a great day too! Got up early with the kids and went to
breakfast at some place called Western Omellette (why can't I
spell that right I've tried ten ways and spell check says NO). So we
ate and headed up into the mountains and I mean WAY UP
THERE!!! I think we got to about 10,000 feet. All I know is Pike's
Peak is 14,000 and we looked like we were almost parallel to it.
We had to turn back otherwise maybe we would have ventured up
the highway to it.

We came back and I took the in-laws up to Denver to fly out. That
is my weekend.

Oh, I feel like an idiot cause I did a live shot on Fox 21 here in
town on Friday live from Chick-Fil-A. They didn't have a reporter
and the camera guy was like you are doing it. So Tammy in all of
her glory and the employees there did the CHICKEN DANCE on live
TV. Before you watch know that I could only hear every other word
and that I move around like that on the RADIO and am a spaz!!
Enough of my defending of the job just watch it!!























There was also COWTIPPING on the premises!!
