Deja Vu' all over again..went to the zoo AGAIN today! No blog
sorry I am sick. Headache and sore hopefully just allergies I'm
going to get some shut eye. BETTER BLOGGING for Thursday!

A GREAT weekend!

Friday was low key...Kelly and I started watching that BBC "Planet
Earth" show and it is blowing us away! We were tired and crashed
out.

Saturday...we had some people over at the house for some
appetizers and drinks. Good stuff. It was Wingnut from our sister
station Cat Country 95.1 and his fiance Sherry, Cat from 98.9
Magic FM, Anne Boswell who's filling in for Tammy on the morning
show, and of course, Mr. Dapper himself Woody Powers of 92.9
Peak FM middays! Wow!! I love namedropping these celeb names.
Riiiiiiiiiiight.

I know Kelly enjoyed having adult conversations with them...since
usually I am kind of like a kid! We just hung out and Wingnut and
Sherry stayed until 2am. SHE BLOGGED ABOUT IT HERE.

Sunday, we got up around 8am to a beautiful day and headed up to
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Kelly has a pass already for the year but I
had yet to make it there. It was about 80 and sunny so perfect. We
got there and met up with John Foxx, 98.9 Magic FM fame, and his
wife Kathleen who had been wanting to get to the zoo. We had a
great time, Steven was good and enjoyed everything. I think the
coolest thing was petting giraffes!! It is soooooooooooo cool! Then
the Grizzly Bear exhibit gets you like feet from them. They look at
you like..."mmmm, appetizer!"

Then got home Sunday around 2pm and played outside forever
with Steven. It was fun. I bought these little water balloons for him
to play with (and me too of course) and he then learned how to use
the hose to spray mommy and daddy. Good stuff. Oh, and then he
got soaked running through a neighbor's sprinkler.

Then Wingnut and Sherry came over again for dinner. Kelly made
some killer lasagna and other stuff. They left around 10:30. For
some reason they decided to open up champagne that we had
sitting around. Kelly's suggestion I believe! Wingnut is a funny ass
dude so refined as you can see!

Now the zoo pics. The one of Steven feeding the baby giraffe is so
sweet. He was like... Baby, Baby. Fun. I do like the shot looking
down at the giraffes too.
