YES!!! "Iron Man" was awesome!! Got back at 11pm after seeing
an advanced screening. It has a great story and I'd say it is a good
date movie and the dude I went with (Bobby from Magic FM)...his
wife Kat (from Magic FM) said the same thing.

If you go stay until the VERY END of the credits for a sweet
surprise. Robert Downey Jr. by the way is so great in the flick. This
guy has overcome a lot to make it back into hits like this.

I mean, I've liked him a long time especially in a movie like
"Natural Born Killers" he was outstanding. If you are looking for a
fun movie this would be it. "Baby Mamma" with Tina Fey is next on
my list.

Other happenings... Can I say how proud I am of my wife. She has
been walking to train for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
back home and is sticking to a schedule. She is training hard and
doing her thing. It will be a great accomplishment for her and she is
doing it for my mom and so many other women affected by Breast
Cancer. Click the logo up top for info. :)

There are a bunch of Relay for Life events coming up here in
Colorado Springs and I am trying to get involved in any way I can
to help out. They are such great events. If you've never
experienced one it is something special.

Big weekend...well...not really just going to hang around and hang
with the boys...I think Kelly has to walk like five miles again on
Saturday to stay on schedule to be in great shape for that race.

Last...not least at all...for those of you here in "The Springs" this
may seem irrelevant to you...but I do have a lot of people from
back in Chicagoland checking this blog daily still. One of the great
things about the Internet!! Big family!

Rebecca Ortiz, my former co-host, was let go by 102.3 WXLC
yesterday. Too bad...for the station! She was doing everything she
was supposed to and wasn't given a fighting chance. She had a guy
after me that lasted a month and then she was solo. Either way she
is moving to better things I guarantee you. Check out her blog for
more including a sweet farewell (for now).
