A REALLY, REALLY, REALLY busy weekend!

On Friday we went to a place here in Colorado Springs known as
Uncle Wilbur. It is a big water fountain, where for free, you could
hang out and let it shoot water at you and the kids. It is like a mini
water park in the middle of downtown. Steven loved it and so did I!

I did get a water canon up the crotch of my pants that was
FREEZING cold and made it look like I pee'd my pants too. Good
times!

Can't figure if it is a tourist thing to do visiting that fountain or what
but there were a lot of people there.

Saturday our neighbors had flag football with their five and seven
year old so we headed to the park. Well, I was at the park with
Steven for THREE HOURS and Kelly went to a few stores for some
summer clothes. It was too much fun. He was so good and was
swinging on the swings, watching the BMX riders. They have this
cool dirt track for bike racers here in town. It's at Rampart Park
maybe you know of it already. Too cool I want to be a kid after
seeing it.

That night our neighbors came by with the kids and four people
from work swung by on their way to see "The Strangers".

Sunday... Sky Sox game...the WHOLE big game. It was a great one
and they won which was cool. We again went with our neighbors
Pam and Gary and their two kids. Steven gets along great with
them and it feels good to have some friends right in the
neighborhood. This picture...wow. He puts his hat like that on his
own too.

He looks like my little brother in this picture when he was little.

So alot right? And good weather. Wait...more!!

A BIG CHUNK of Sunday morning and then after the game was
spent on yard work. I raked all of our dead grass up and then
bagged it and cut the grass. The raking was killing me but I think
we'll get green lawn eventually.

Steven was a good help that is for sure...nice shirt kid...

Had to borrow my neighbor's lawnmower. I think Tammy said she
has one for me that I have to ask her about. They got a new one -
not sure what condition it is in!! Is it going to kill me Tammy?? Ha.

A first for BOTH of our boys too. Adam on a baby swing and Steven
on a big kid swing. Sweet.

To saw the least we stayed busy and enjoyed the family time
together greatly. No live broadcasts for the first weekend since
getting here to Colorado so things were good. Seeing all of the pics
and enjoying ourselves makes the move feel really good.

I mean look at the view!

What I liked is that my big boy Steven was with me every step of
the way! He is the best!

This week Kelly heads back to Chicago with the boys and I will
meet her there the following weekend (Father's Day weekend) for
the baptizing of our son Adam.

Hope your weekend was just as good!
